Southmuir Primary School
Like many generations of Kirrie people I attended Southmuir Primary School and was sad to see the willful destruction, by fire, of the 170-year old school building. The school had moved to a new building a number of years earlier and was empty but plans were developing to convert it into a facility for community use. The roof collapsed and the entire building was later demolished.
